Worksheet: Build your own Hashtag Library

A post without hashtags is basically like a website without any keywords: nobody will find it unless they already know it’s there - which means you won’t reach any new audiences. 

Hashtags present the opportunity to reach not only new audiences - but varied audiences too. 

It’s best to check the content of each hashtag before you decide to attach it to a post. Some tags have been ‘crashtagged’ and a lot of dodgy, off brand content will come up in the hashtag feed.

There are hundreds of apps out there that will offer Instagram planning and scheduling services, but the one we use is called Planoly (cue: download on your phone's app store). 

It's highly visual, easy to use and has a desktop version which makes life even easier. You can search for other user content, and even schedule in your Instagram stories - this video will show you how.
